Hey, I'm Truls. I write about stuff that interests me, mostly topics like SIEM, XDR, SOC, Microsoft Sentinel, Automation, and Cybersecurity in general. I also share some of my projects and presentations here.
Experience
My background is in system- and network-administration, automation and development. I also have experience with penetration testing and still play CTFs fairly regularly, as well as platforms like HackTheBox. Since 2019 I transitioned from on-premise to Cloud Security, and in that also started working on the products that I usually write about today, Microsoft Sentinel and Defender XDR. My preferred language of choice is PowerShell, but I also get by in Python. Don't ask about Rust. We don't about Rust.
